Can't dream too often

For as long as I can remember I've have very few dreams. I say I have one dream every 3 to 6 months. It seems other people have one or more dreams a week. Anyone else have the same frequency of dreams, every 3 to 6 months?

Guess it just depends whether you've had a good day or a bad day. You must be a pretty happy person! Congratulations.

I am the total opposite- I have 3-4 dreams a night! I bet you have just as many you just can't remember them as well as some people.

It is not that you aren't having dreams ,
you have dreams every night .
Yet , half the time ,
you do not remember a thing about them .
    So ,
yes .. It is normal that you do not REMEMBER* having dreams .

Do you stay up late though? I haven't slept before like 1 in a long time and so it also may be that your exhausted when you sleep and don't hit REM stage. Don't really know why that is though. When I nap I remember them so thats why I'm assuming something like that.

I maybe go even longer without remembering my dreams and it drives me crazy because i used to love waking up from a solid dream. I've decided that because, even though you definitely are dreaming, you come out of your sleep cycle slower when waking up so you are, in a sense, semi-awake before you fully wake up and you subconsciously remember the dream you just had. By the time you're up and about it's been pushed to the back of your brain and lost. Wish I could fix it...abruptly waking up is the only thing I can think of.

Oh now I did have two dreams a few days ago. One night I drempt something, but I forgot it after I awoke and the next day I had what seemed to be a good dream at first, then I opened my wallet and a spider crawled out of it. I awoke from that nightmare. :/

You will be dreaming but you just cant remember them, try setting an alarm clock to go off once everyhour while your asleep. everytime you wake up you should have a dream fresh in your mind, write them down or you will forget about them by the morning. Most people have about 20 dreams a night but most people only remember one or sometimes two.

That does sound like a good idea, but it usually takes me an hour and a half to get to sleep.

It's probably normal but the longest I've gone without a dream is only 1 month so I'm not sure
