Marriage is a marathon rather than a sprint. It can be great... it can also be stressful, poignant, exhilarating, maddening, exciting, tedious, terrifying, incredible, or any and all of the above simultaneously.
Don't enter into it lightly.
It seems to be possible. My brother and his wife have been married for 50 years and are still together. I made it 25 years but once the kids were grown up and gone, I got out.
Basically you are planning the rest of your life without having any idea what situations might develop.
That said, it suits some people and others don't last a year.
