I often wonder if hetero sexual men and women can be "Just friends"
and if we agree. This is my way of finding out. I'd like it if you would post an explanation in the comments!

Yes. About half my friends are females and most of them are in other relationships. People who cannot handle friendships with the opposite sex have a problem with emotional immaturity.
One of my nearest and dearest friends is a male and our relationship is strictly platonic. I definitely think it is possible :)

I have two female friends. I never had problems with one of them but the other one for a wile it was difficult. We talked and of course both reach the simple conclusion that one does not sleep with friends, never.
If you don't want to loose a friend and know that that especial friendshipness is more important than one night together better put all the sensuality inside you aside.
Always better a friend. There is always plenty of people willing to find someone to sleep with.
Real friends are rare.
I guess most people had problems like that and know how it is. Once you sleep with a friend you loose the friend and that relation as no sustainability.
Of course! We dont all find everyone of the opposite sex appealing unless of course I was a slut no offence

Yes, and if someone to I am NOT attracted and do not see as potential relationship material wants more then I sever the friendship.
Yup. I have a few male friends. We're not all that close anymore, though. But it was never weird. My boyfriend has a best friend who is female and they've been friends forever.
