Can good looking guys be creepers?

From all the stories I heard it's always the ugly one weird dudes that are considered creepy. Also from my experience when I was bothered or harrassed it was always an ugly weird desperate guy. So I was just wondering can good looking guys be considered creepy?

You know I have never considered him the least bit attractive. I really don't see why people always said that he was handsome, because I don't find his pointy nose, and skinny lips to be the least bit attractive.

I think it was because he actually put something into his looks and kinda charmed everyone cuz he knew what they wanted to see
Aaaaand well he was famous and many famous people are suddenly attractive
Many people find such a character intriguing, even tho he would’ve murdered u
It’s all about the show and the act

Yes, they can be even creepier than the ugly ones. I speak from experience.

For one I once married a narcissist with attachment issues who was creepy at a second look. Well, he was creepy before that but I was the only one in my group of friends who didn't notice because he was so hot.

  • It’s not the looks that make them creepy it’s what they are doing that’s creepy.

I had a very handsome, well dressed man, follow me home in our cars. It was terrifying.

Umm, Ted bundy. Most women of that time period thought he was hansom. A lot of sex offenders are charming, its how they groom someone easily.

whenever i hear "grooming" it makes me think of some guy standing there while someone is straightening his collar, parting his hair, making sure his shirt is not stained, tie adjusted right, eye glasses clean etc.

Creepiness is largely a subjective perception. Good looking men that most women would consider suitable sex partners can get away with murder. Ugly men who are thoughtful and kind, are ignored at best, and labeled as creeps if they smile or show even a hint of swagger.

Mens behavior is way more important than their looks. I would never fuck with the hottest dude if he is weird. I would fuck with the most physically ugly man if he has game.

  • Holzman_67

Oh absolutely. Probably even more so cos they’re used to getting away with it

I think the reason it is "Creepy" when someone ugly is flirting is because we start to think, "Is THIS my dating pool?"

In high school I had it bad cause even though girls would flirt with me and ask me out, it was always the pizza-face ones, the fatso's, the retards, the trailer park trash... basically the riff raff.

creepiness is an attitude, and yes attractive men can be creepy.

Um yes, definietely. Lots of attractive men are creeps and jerks. My most good looking ex was an absolute creep and narcissist. Last time I saw him around he was hanging out with an underage girl. He was also considered to behave creepily at work when I was with him (he wouldn't specify why he was just pissed about it) but he still works there... Good looking guys just get away with it easier. Generally the more good looking you are the more trustworthy and likable you're considered etc. there has been studies done on this. The more good looking someone is the easier it seems to be to make excuses for creepy behaviours they have or to simply just overlook it. It's also way easier for someone who is very attractive to put on a mask and turn on their charm convincingly especially if they're good at talking.

I don't think I would watch that movie unless someone was paying to see it.

The movie and the series, particularly the second one. Idk why most people don't like it but I guess I have unique tastes in that sorta thing.

The movies were poorly made. Mostly because the actors sucked.

Is that right? Dakota Johnson is seriously sexy so I could care less.

I have no issues whatsoever with BDSM between consenting adults, but those books are very badly written and include activities which are not consensual, ditto the movies.

I know and agree. The books were shit based off what I heard and also the representation of kink was pretty horrible. I enjoyed the movie because it was sexy, I never said it was well put together or anything.

The two main beefs are that consent isn't explicitly shown and Christain doesn't respect her boudries good enough, it's more like coercion.

And also it shows that Christian was abused as a child and shit and that's why hes kinky which makes everyone think that if your kinky your also a psychopath with a fucked up childhood. This is not the case!

Creepiness is not about physical appearance as much as it is about actions. Staring is creepy, following someone home is creepy; those are just a couple of examples.

Richard Remirez (the night stalker) could have been a super model and when pretty creepy.

    Yeah.

Society's standard on beauty blinds us to any creepy behavior an attractive person may have. Plus, we're animals, so on an animalistic/instinctual level genetic makeup means a lot to us in hopes we have pretty/healthy offspring.

Also, many of us have willingly stayed in a crazy relationship because the guy or girl is hot.

Have you not heard of Ted Bundy? He literally used his good looks to lure women to their death.

Good looking guys usually don’t have to resort to creepy behaviour because they can get girls easily and their advances are usually received as sexy or endearing.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Definitely. If they are goodlooking they can utilise their charisma and looks to get what they want.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • d0esnormalmatter

Yes of course they can. Although ugly guys are usually more desperate so it's more likely to be them. Also depends what constitutes a creeper to you.

Creepiness has a direct correlation with ugliness.
