      Technically it is if you count the carcinogenic virus HPV.

        No it's not. Cancer is not contagious. HPV is. HPV can lead to cancer, but having oral sex with someone who has cancer of the vagina or uterus will not transmit it. You are talking about two different things here. You can catch something that may lead to cancer, but you can't catch cancer itself.

    I wouldn't have thought so seeing as cancer is a corrupt DNA multiplying not a virus or bacteria.

    Angel got it right. Basically, any cancer can't get transferred from oral sex. Or, in general.

    Luckily that is the case. Imagine a world if, let's say a person with cancer sneezed in a crowd full of people, and it's contagious. We'd be all fucked, lol.

      Well. Not exactly.

      I mean you CAN get oral HPV, and therefore pick up the cancerous strain that way.

      But regular cancer, no you're not going to just pick up cancer from touching it. It's not a cold.

    You have your cancers mixed up.

    HPV - aka genital warts - has a strain that is cancerous.

    So no, throat cancer won't transfer to cervical cancer from oral sex.

    BUT you can get HPV from someone who has genital warts which... if it's the "right" strain (if you want to call it "right") you can develop cancer

      More men may get throat cancer from having oral sex with women than from smoking due to HPV, or human papillomavirus. Of 271 throat-tumor samples collected between 1984 and 2004, the percentage of oral cancer linked to HPV jumped to almost 73 percent from about 16 percent, according to a new study in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.

        In your original post you said nothing about HPV, just about cancer in general, which is NOT contagious. However HPV *is*

        And if you notice I also mentioned oral HPV below already.
