Can artificial psychic abilities become hereditary to offspring?
So just like any family, my folks constantly tell me stories of things they did as a kid. For instance, my mom has multiple stories of herself practicing psychic training and minor voodoo as a kid until she went too far and she scared herself into quitting.
Thing is she still gets minor psychic episodes to this day like thinking she's low on cash at the register, and the cashier will accidentally give her too much change without her saying a word. And I've noticed throughout my life I've had these same sort of coincidences on rare occasions and I'm wondering if she somehow passed it onto me.
I've heard of natural psychics passing it along to family like genes, but my mom got her abilities from artificial means. Practicing tarot cards and Ouija boards, not from her parents. Also my little episodes aren't nearly to the same scale my mom had them.
My mom says at the prime of her practice she dreamt of fire for three nights in a row, and on the third night she woke up to discover her house was really on fire. Whereas the most prominent episode I had was when I was in middle school.
Our class decided to take a small walk into an overgrown field to observe nature, and before even going outside or leaving the classroom, I remarked to myself "Huh. Maybe we'll find a dead bird or something." When we got to the field the first thing I see is a half-rotten bird corpse covered in maggots.
Anyways, what do you all think? Did my mom's voodoo practice somehow become genetic and pass down to me? Leave a comment and vote on what you think.
