Can artificial psychic abilities become hereditary to offspring?

See above comment. It goes to the point that there is no such thing as psychic ability. There has never been a scientifically verified example of it i.e. no one has ever been able to make testable and measurable predictions with any accuracy. Look up the One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge. If your mother or you can prove these abilities its a million dollars for you.

Ok, I believe in psychic abilities and your mother does seem to have some level of them. I have a feeling that she probably didn't really go all that far before she "scared herself" or it was a short lived phase. I'm not at all surprised that she "scared herself" because voodoo is demonic in nature and revolves around curses, hexes, and spells using the demonic world. Also, there is no such thing as "artificial" psychic abilities. Once developed, practiced psychic abilities are just as real as any other. Not all psychic abilities are demonic in nature, just certain ones are. Some practices, like voodoo revolve around dark, evil entities. However, there are psychics who tap into good forces in the universe. There are "prophets" in the bible, all of whom did very good things. So, psychic abilities can take many, in fact, infinite forms. However, your mother's abilities are not something that you would want to inherit as it sounds demonic. It is good your mother stopped practicing voodoo as she likely would have become possessed by evil spirits. Voodoo and witchcraft practioners go into trances where they allow "the spirits" to take over their body. Often this involves drug-induced trance states or deep hypnosis/meditation. In the trance, the spirit is allowed by the person to take them over and speak through them using a sort of channeling. Of course, sometimes the spirits never really leave and can cause the person to do evil things or taunt and torment them. Do not engage in voodoo or any other occult practice because it could get you possessed by demons. I attempted scrying once which is an occult activity. I was attempting to peer into the future in order to create a prophecy. However, something disturbing happened. Multiple spirits began communicating with me telepathically telling me that I was "not allowed to see the other side" and the dresser that my mirror was on began to glow. Clearly, I had tapped into something, but some part of me told me that these spirits were demonic in nature. They did not speak to me in words, but it was as if part of me was no longer me. Like as if I was split between myself and the spirits. Continuing contact with them could have proved horrific. I could have become their minion! After this close call, I stopped scrying and dabbling in the occult. If psychic abilities do not come from within, but from an external source be careful and if an external spirit does ever attempt to communicate with you, it is crucial to test the spirit to see if it is a force of good or evil. If it turns out to be demonic, eliminate it from your life because it will likely use you as a pawn for it's own agenda or mercilessly torment you for years and years. Do not get possessed by demons and do not practice any of your mother's witchcraft

You pretty much said it all in your headline. Of course you can inherit all of your mommy's "artificial psychic abilities". See the key word here is artificial. As in fake, phony, not real. So you have inherited her "artificial psychic abilities" for sure. Because you are no more psychic than she is, or anyone else on this planet.

I don't think so. I think that having psychic abilities is either given to you by a more awakened 6th sense or you learn it through careful studying.

Good intuition can be natural as well as learned. If your mom taught herself how to read subtle signs, you could learn that from her as well as naturally being more inclined to see things others overlook. And then manipulate your surroundings as you see fit.
