I'm asking because I don't want to ever have kids and I want to get sterilized. i'm going to be 20 later this year.

    From my understanding, they won't unless it's a medical necessity.

    You don't want kids now, but your attitude might change in 10 years. No reason to make a permanent decision you might later regret.
