Can a guy with asperger’s find a girlfriend if he’s attractive?

This is considering the fact that I can’t improve my game or social proof due to the complications of my disorder. It doesn’t matter if I can master Calculus or score 600 on the GMAT because social intelligence is way different than IQ or academic intelligence.

Women aren't as shallow as us. It depends on how severe your aspergers is. I have a friend with autism and he pulls some pretty good women.

If you're severely aspergic then it's going to be hard; if you were a woman you would have better chances of landing a good guy because you're hot, and men are more shallow.

Assuming you're asprergers is pretty severe then you have three options. Lower your standards and date ugly/ fat girls, get rich/ famous and attract hot girls or find an aspregic girl who can relate and won't be as put off.

Do you have proof of your autistic friend? I’m tired of seeing these claims with no proof. And yes, I’m likely on the severe side of the spectrum.

Side note: If women don’t care about looks, how come you don’t see white girls with black guys unless she’s an America-hating Democrat/Leftist?

"Do you have proof of your autistic friend", dude this is a post on a site called isitnormal... Do you have proof you're on the spectrum? Do you have proof you're likely on the severe side? This is a largely anonymous internet site, not a bibliography from an academic paper.

I don't get your second point, what do you mean? Also, women do care about looks, just not as much as men. I think the SMV value for women peaks at around 25 whereas it's around 40 for men.

I don't understand the second choice in the votes: it seems totally irrelevant to the main post. I've voted yes

It really does look like that second choice came out of nowhere.

I changed it from “no” because uneducated people like to insist that looks don’t matter to women, or that confidence and other “qualities” matter more.

If women don’t care about a man’s looks, how come you never see a white girl dating a black guy in the Deep South? I know there are exceptions. But if the woman is Republican, Christian and likes country music, she would never consider a black man partly because of looks and also family expectations.

I'm originally from the Deep South, and I've seen plenty of white women with black men down there, especially in the past twenty years. I would say that it was much more rare before the past twenty, or thirty years.

I don't think whether, not a white woman dates a black man is about looks per se, but more so about whether, or not the woman in question is typically attracted by black men, or not. There are Black men who are handsome, ugly, and average in appearance just like the same holds true for Hispanic, Asian, and or White Anglo-Saxon men. Additionally, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. We all have different ideas about how we define beauty. However, there are certain features that are universally attractive like symmetrical features, higher cheekbones, nice eyes, etcetera.

Yes. I am a woman with aspergers but I am considered attractive and take good care of my appearance. I've dated men who doesn't have aspergers and men who do. Aspergers isn't even noticeable most of the time, even less so on women of course as we're generally better at masking, but it's not obvious on men either and if your social skills are so terrible that people think you're weird or whatever you can always improve them, just look at how people with good social skills behave or seek therapy if you're socially anxious.
Either way there are both odd aspies and odd neurotypicals so finding a partner isn't really that hard.

I'm not a fan of either, but if Jay Z can marry Beyonce (yuck), understanding he is filthy rich and she a moron, you should be able to have any girl you want.

Easy. Attractive guys attract women like flypaper. Just smile and nod. If they see you have Aspergers, they will leave.

I have noticed that women don't confide in men anymore. They use the attractive ones in bed and then ghost them.

There's someone out there for everyone. Actually, multiple someones.
My son has Asperger's, and has had a long term relationship. (3years). They only split because their careers took them in different directions. They are still in contact.

I wish that was true. So many people lie about being on the spectrum and having relationships. I want to believe that but based on the brutal rejections due to my Asperger’s, I would doubt such claims.

Don't feel bad. I am 47 and in a rural area, it's really difficult as they view autism as some communicative disease that needs to be eradicated. Also, no assistance is available in a reasonable distance.
