What passes for shorts today is ridiculous below the knee ,they look like long pants the person outgrew. I like short shorts because they are cool and comfortable.
The real question is "can boys wear boy shirts?"...they can, but despite their name they are for girls.
I hate those jort pants and non-denims "shorts cut to that length as well. Wear your short shorts with pride. You do it if you believe.
Depends its ususlly us gay guys showing other guys its available. If u hot have on short shorts and they tight it will get attention. Good thing about short is there hsnd can get up there easier. So straight guys if u see a guy in skin tight shorts and he keeps turning his butt to you that is the sign he wants you.

I have a real problem finding shorts with a 4 inch inseam, which are an absolute necessity if one is climbing from the dinghy over lifelines or up ladders in the boating world.
Anything longer can be down right dangerous as they won't ride up the thigh when lifting a leg to climb, hampering movement. I couldn't give 2 shits about style when safety is concerned. They sit mid thigh normally, so they are not true short shorts, and do not look ridiculous.
Unfortunately, the only pair I can find on the web, Lauderdale shorts by Sportif, are way expensive. Of course, if one wears their shorts up above their naval, then I guess all shorts are short shorts.
If you've got it flaunt it, most men seem to have better legs than women anyway.
