You didn't give a yes option. My Nana is blind and my Papa is deaf and they've been married for 58 years.
Sounds like a perfect match to me.
I'm going deaf and I bet my husband hopes I go mute too. It would also help if he were to go blind - then he wouldn't see me ageing.
It should have been the opposite, blind woman and deaf man! Nah I'm kidding.
I really don't know how it would work, one is blind and the other can't speak nor hear..
i would have picked yes, but that wasn't an option. I think if anything their love would be so real because, when you are blind you sense everything around you as well as when you can't here, their love would be based on the way they make either other feel whether it's physically or emotionally, but that's just my opinion.
yes. When my granparents got old grandpa was legally blind and grandma was and is still deaf. They made it work although they bickered in like a jokey way about it.
The person would use hand over hand sign language. This works. Do your homework here before you postulate shit.
This can happen and it is possible. When I took American Sign Language in college, we watched a documentary about an elderly couple that has been together for such a long time. Guess what? They were both blind and deaf! They communicate by finger-spelling what they want to say in each other's palms. They cook together, they go to church together, and they love each other. It is possible! So if these people are both deaf and blind, I do not see why a blind person and a deaf person cannot live together.
Why is there no yes option? The dead woman could guide the blind man and write words on his hands.
That's what I was going to say ^ why isn't yes an option? As they are both disabled I'd imagine they would have help like other deaf and blind people might have. So they could live together with their helpers/ social workers (not sure what they are called).
I guess after time they would be able to live in harmony, I guess she would read his lips and give him touch signals like 1 touch for yes 2 for no... but my word would it be difficult eh?
Thanks for your views guys!
