Bubbles in a fountain:hilarious or immature?

It sounds unhygenic. Michael Jackson's monkey should wash elsewhere.

I would like to skip and twirl around in a fountain whilst blowing bubbles and singing silly songs :)

lol i think its funny sometimes im mature but wen it comes to little things like that im so entertained and my inner kid comes out and i laugh :)

It is a silly thing to do, but more than that it causes a lot of damage and can lead to a lot of trouble. Cleaning it up is bad enough, but when I was a groundskeeper and had to fix a fountain after something like this, it almost always invariably wrecked the pumps.
Eventually, for the fountain we had, we had to install an electronic shut off which would switch the pumps off.
The foam and suds build up enough lather to significantly drain the water level in the fountain after enough time passes. Without the fluid flowing through them, most pumps overheat and it burns the motors inside them out.
If you are caught, this prank might cost a lot more than a fine. It could cost thousands of dollars in repairs and replacement parts. Maybe jailtime, community service or a lawsuit.
This same neighborhood made the kids who did shenanigans like this work for the neighborhood to pay off their debts. We had one kid work for a year for setting fire to a jungle jim.

I wouldn't probably think that much about it. I simply don't care.

I really hate it because the fountains are also my tax money and it's being f*cked up just because of a childish retard. Imagine you are in a nice medieval town e.g. Bruges or Bamberg or something.. then it's really a pity when the beautiful sight is being messed up by bubbles in a fountain. It's the same as graffiti- what an immature and selfish thing to do!

I say if it's not your property, treat it with respect and don't mess it up!
