Break up with partner because of family?

Hello everyone!

I've been dating a girl for the last 2 years now. Everything is great, she is a wonderful person more or less.

There is a catch. She is a very family oriented person that comes from a very large family. Everyone is very nice, however I absolutely hate her sister. Her sister lives in our town and we actually all work together and so I see her at least 5 days a week. I just hate her sister so much and that I'm actually wondering if I can be with this person for the rest of her life as her sister will obviously always be around.

In case it matters to the story or that you're curious, her sister is a prissy b**** that thinks she is the princess of the world and always must be the center of attention. The type of person that is a vegetarian that will tell a group of 10 people that they can't go eat somewhere because she doesn't find anything on the menu. She's loud, obnoxious, and rude to people.

am I being silly? There's no reason to break up with someone because they're family, right?

    Don't mean to sound cold but, if you're considering breaking up with your girlfriend because of the way her sister acts-
    Then, it makes me question how much you actually care/love your girlfriend.
    My mother is literally the most aweful person I know and I still have to interact with her due to family events. But I wouldn't want my boyfriend breaking up with me because of who SHE is.

    How is breaking up with your girl going to help you if you work with the one you hate and see her 5 days a week anyway?
    Go ahead and break up with your girl friend, you don't need some silly ass excuse like this post.

    You're being fucking stupid.

    Just find a new job or ask to work different hours. You're feel a lot better if you just don't have to see her almost everyday.
