Brain feels cloudy/slow after smoking marijuana

for a year I smoked weed almost every day mabye 3.5/4g a week every now and again a binge of more.then I cut down but still smoke once a week mabye a gram/little bit more.Ive read up that after you are a "heavy user" your brain feels mentally slower, cloudy, mixing up words not as sharp etc and that it eventually wears, off that it did.But what Ive noticed is that now everytime I smoke doesnt really matter how much that my head/brain feels this way and it can take up to a week mabye more for it to wear off I immediately notice it like what ever im doing I stop for a breef second its like my brain becomes clear,Im sharper, like a weight has been removed or something.Anyone know anything about this or any advise to snap out of this quicker?Id prefer not to completely stop smoking(I mean this in the most none childish way possible ha) but I way prefer when my head is like this.
Thanks

If you're only smoking once a week or so, it's likely because your body isn't used to it as much. You used to have a higher tolerance. Now that your tolerance is lower due to your lowered consumption, you should feel the effects stronger... Are the other effects stronger too?
Cannabis stays in your body for a while, and it's not uncommon to feel cloudy, out of it, or otherwise just a bit off afterwords. It can even be considered symptoms of somewhat of a 'weed hangover'.
If the other effects aren't stronger than they were when you were smoking daily, then i dunno what to tell ya. Good luck dude<3
