i really like a lot of guys and the one i like the most is rude,mean,and hits girls. But the one my parents want me to be with is a geek and nerd...but cute. should i go with the bad boy or the geek? is it normal to want them both?

How about none of them? When you REALLY want someone, it doesn't normally take a lot of deliberation. It's not like deciding between two pairs of shoes (not for me anyway).

never get with someone based on looks (unless your a shallow b****) and you should never get with a guy who hit's girls. you'll know when you found the right guy ( and who knows he might be good looking) just be patient.

Go with the one you like, obviously. If your parents want to decide who you are with, they should leave you alone because it isn't their place. It's your life. If you want go with the one that sounds like a jerk then do. It is probably not a good choice, but it's your choice to make, not your parent's.
As a side note, this is why I wouldn't let my parents know about my social life. Because they'd get... involved *shivers*.
I can't understand why a woman would even contemplate being together with a unpleasant, violent guy. I can only assume that he is physically attractive; which alone is no basis for a long-lasting relationship.
Re. your questions; yes it's perfectly normal to be attracted to more than one person, but the choice of bf is yours.
