Boyfriend doesn't brush his teeth before going to bed

My boyfriend doesn't brush his teeth before going to bed. Is this normal? He sees me doing it...
Brushing teeth in the morning is the fist thing I do when I wake up... When we wake up he only sometimes brushes his teeth before we start making out and having sex.

We don't live together, have been seeing each other for a year, and we spend 2 or 3 nights a week together. I bought a toothbrush for him to keep at my place, which is now in a ziplock bag in the vanity drawer because he never uses it....

He brushed his teeth last night before we went out to dinner with his family.... Which I didn't get a point of...

Is it normal that he doesn't brush his teeth when he sees me brushing mine? How do I best approach this? I would obviously like him to brush his teeth in the morning and before bed....

      Yes, sometimes it is. He likes to eat a lot of garlic and onion....

        So what's wrong with suggesting it directly? Cleaning his teeth won't make a whole of difference anyway, it'll just add toothpaste taste & smell to the other ones.

          You should definitely suggest it to him. I understand not wanting to hurt his feelings, but he probably wants to know if he's doing something that could be pushing you away!

        In that case I'd like to recommend a product called "therabreath". This product is effective and safe enough to swallow. He can swish it in his mouth before and after he wakes for bad breath and still continue being a lazy ass not brushing his teeth.

    I'm a girl and I don't brush my teeth At night unless I'm going out somewhere nice/visiting a crush. I mean, I honestly don't see a problem with it unless your breath really smells. Like, I had an ex whose breath was TERRIBLE and ALWAYS smelled of B.O., yet he'd take a shower and brush his teeth but sill Stink! Honestly, it was one of the reasons why I never got too close to his face. XD So, yeah, definitely discuss it with him. Even though I don't bush my teeth before bed, if I was asked to do so I would.
