Do all Japanese companies slaughter or support the slaughter of whales? Didn't think so.

Then they can put pressure on their government, if a boycott hurts them. The whales have more of a right to live than any Japanese company has to make money, IMO.

I strongly disagree with you about this one Dude, there are some very good reasons for controlling the population of whales, don't forget the whole marine eco system is out of balance, and the slaughter of sharks is a much bigger problem.

Besides, can you honestly tell me you have never wanted to kill a whale...and fuck it.

Please give me even one reason to control the population of an endangered species.

Their consumption of other species, if you do your research you'll find it's more complicated than you think.
Think about it Dude, Japan is one of the most forward thinking nations on the planet in the history of the Earth, the idea they kill whales because it's a delicacy is a myth, we need to work with them on this one not against them, Greenpeace are not a good organisation and they create the propaganda against Japan.

I like the concept of "put your money where your mouth is" and try to make purchases that fall in line with my value system. I buy as local as I can without being to hard on myself. I do buy coffee and bananas but i pay attention to the company that is supplying it. Food especially, should be local. I buy second hand clothes. And i refuse to eat fast food. Except my local chain. But their food is from the region.

Idk somewhere in Oregon. He is a radio caller. He is developmentally disabled. I think he mainly cleans up. So probably nothing to worry about.

Isn't Daniel Tiger a puppet from the Land of Make Believe on Mr. Rogers? That guy is a cool dude.

I can't remember the original character, but yeah it's based off of him. This show is torture, I tell you! As well as the millennial version of Mickey Mouse clubhouse and a few others.

He was a hand puppet on the Mr. Rodgers show in the land of make believe. I googled it after responding to your post because I never heard of a cartoon version. Apparently the cartoon is the son of the hand puppet. I'll have to watch it, I enjoy shows like that. I think the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a good show too. Hotdog!

Chick fil a because their charitable organization, The Winshape Foundation, gives money to organizations that lobby against social justice issues like gay marriage. They even give money to The Family Research Council which spent $25,000 lobbying congress not to condemn the Uganda kill the gays law. And it's a great shame cause their chicken is really good.

Oh they still do that? Someone told me they stopped donating to those anti-gay organizations... I guess I better stop eating there. I boycotted it for about 2 years.

They scaled back giving to outside groups in general. But the organization still has a "traditional family" focus and they are unapologetic in their views of homosexuality. That is certainly their right, but it's my right not to give them my money. I really don't trust them or any organization that financially supports people who believe gays should be put to death.

Hey I just realised my post reads as if Gloria Jean supports non-free range eggs! I meant that's something else apart from their coffee shops that I boycott. I'll bet they don't use free range eggs though

I do not donate to charities as I don't know where the money actually goes . I have seen many scandals and so I have my own charitable page where I do the donating and good deeds my self . I pay it forward , I don't need someone to do it for me .
