Both my parents think i'm a stalker

I don't consider myself to be a stalker, but I was just googling people's names out of boredom, and both my parents called me a stalker. I couldn't tell if they were serious or not. Does googling people's names solely out of curiosity to see what would come up make me a stalker? is it normal for them to think this?
