Blue is too mainstream

This post gave me an idea. Blue has always been the default color for all new members. But, I just changed it to assign new members a random color when they sign up (they can of course still change it if they want to). This should add some nice variety.

I've had blue since they day I joined. I'm not gonna change it because one person thinks a color is mainstream. What the fuck is this.

I don't give a rotting testicle about the colors of people's usernames, but I hate hearing mothers always be like "HE'S A BOY, HIS FAVORITE COLOR IS BLUE." And always associate blue with boys and think girls can't wear blue.

When I was turning 9 I went to Carvel with my mom to get an ice cream cake and I hated pink at the time and I wanted a cake with a light blue rose and light blue icing. The guy behind the counter said "WE HAVE PINK ALSO." It angered me greatly.

I don't give a motherfuck.

Hipsters try so hard not to "be mainstream" that they don't realize everyone else like them is doing the same, making it mainstream anyway.

Who cares? It's just a colour.

And, I spot a hipster.

I swear I thought it was only me who felt this way. For the past several days I was looking at the stories/polls and thinking 'What the fuck is it with all this damn blue?!' I even had blue...as a matter of fact blue is my favorite color but I changed it because everyone had it. It was never this blue before....the stories looked like rainbows and made you feel excited...now everything is blue and makes you feel depressed.

What a interesting little turn of events, my completely non serious poll wound up changing the website.

i like blue :p i hadn't noticed on here, but blue has always been a popular color so what's the big deal?

i used have blue as my fav color but then everyone one knew liked blue the best so now purple is my fav color :D so yeah i think blue is to mainstream here and everywhere else but its still a good color :)
