Blinking your eyes when tired?

Is it normal to feel the urge to blink when you are very tired? Or when your eyes are dry? It seems when either of those things occur, my eyes seem to want to blink more than usual. Or if I think about blinking or stare into a bright light. I've blinked like this all my life.

    What else would you do with your eyelids? That's what I do with them.
    Maybe you could draw pupils on them so it will look like they are open when they are closed.

    It's normal. I mean I start wheezing weirdly when I'm about to fall asleep. That's weirder than that.

    Normal. I do it too when I feel that my eyes are gettting tired. Although, most people like strangers, that passes me by the corridors think that I bat my eyes for no apparent reason. o.O
