Bitter breakfast

When I wake up in the morning I always do the usual. Brush my teeth with minty toothpaste. then I go downstairs to go eat breakfast. Lets just say I wanted a beverage. I would go and get some milk or juice, and as soon as I take a sip, it tastes very bitter from the tooth paste. But, If i eat something solid, it doesn't! Is It Normal?

If it's acidic it will taste bitter because toothpaste is basic.

try getting a new toothpaste. one that isn't minty. All natural or Organic toothpaste would be good for you. But really, yeah you should wait a while to eat after you brush. Anything citrus (juice or fruit or jam even) is the worst thing you can do after teeth brushing. It is acidic and eats the enamel on your fresh cleaned teeth.

I just drink water to get rid of the bad post brush taste.
