My 20th birthday is tomorrow and I have no friends. I'm not doing anything special for this mile stone. I have no friends because I'm trying to find good friends, ones that dont use me and have good hearts. If I go to a bar or club alone, I will look pathetic.

Who cares.. the older you get the less you want to celebrate b days.. I try to go out of my way to not let friends know its my b day, I dont like the added attention or selfish feeling. Its another fucking day and thats it so dont feel bad.

I just turned 44 on Thursday and spent by birthday with my dysfunctional family and for some crazy reason I'm pretty happy. I feel like I love and appreciate them so much more nowadays. If it's any consolation I'm in a similar boat as you regarding friends and for much the same reasons. Hang in there my fellow Scorpio!

People online are apart of real life as well you know. you just can't physically see them. Happy Birthday. I am about 5 years older and can tell you birthdays become more and more trivial the older you get. I don't even remember my 20th birthday vividly. You are still young. The average person lives well into their 70s and beyond. You have plenty of time to make good close friends.

I'd suggest you go to an Irish Pub, play darts and buy a round or two for all there to celebrate your birthday. Buying Irish a round or two will insure you plenty of friends, for the evening at least, and that beats the shit out of sitting around your apartment eating cake alone, IMO.
Do you have a close relationship with your family? I discovered in my twenties that my parents are actually awesome drinking buddies.
