Birds are trying to kill me!

Every time i see a bird i think its going to try and kill me. My best friend shot a bird with my air gun and it died. Then the next day i was walking to the shop when a seagull flew into my head, it then got up and just stared at me and flew away. it really freaked me out so i laughed it off until i encountered another bird pecking at my bedroom window and when i looked at it it didnt even move. Are they out to get me or am i just crazy? I seriously think they are planning there next attack. Yet they do nothing to my friend.

  • Sounds like you have guilt of your friend shooting the bird which is making you paranoid of birds. Nothing you stated sounds like the birds are after you. Your just looking into things too much and its making you paranoid. Anything can look like its against you if you look into it too much and obsess over it. Thats what creates paranoia.

I think the fear of birds is making you a bit paranoid. I'm the same way, only with spiders. but it's unlikely the birds would be trying to hurt you. The seagull you mentioned could've been distracted by something else and wasn't looking at you when it flew into you. And the bird tapping at your window might've been trying to catch a spider for food. It's easy to overlook other possibilities when something makes you really nervous. Maybe you should go into a pet shop and try to get over your fear of birds by looking at them up close. It would be perfectly safe, because they would be in cages. And you could take a friend or relative with you, if it makes you feel more comfortable. They say that it's the best way to get over your fears. But (in answer to your question) it's not weird or abnormal to be afraid of birds. =o]

I think it is normal and is just excessive guilt I killed a bee one accidentally and for about ten years thought bees hated me. I know it sounds silly but one day I went outside and talked allowed saying that I was sorry about what happened to the bee and that I was very young and scared and reacted hastily and since then I have been more at peace about it. I am still a bit afraid of bees but I think its a healthier fear

Just confront your fear and you may get over it. I hated roaches so my friend bough a crate of giant hissing roaches and after some time I held a few and it wasn't nearly as bad as i had made it out to be in my head. Now I don't mind roaches that much. But I am still scared of bees so my friend is going to get some bees and I'm going to get stung by one to see how it feels and hopefully get over that fear too.
