Bf wants space randomly when i walk in room

Me and my bf don't even live together but I'm usually there on the weekends and when he plays video games in a room he wants me to leave? Sometimes he doesn't sometimes he doesn't... it's weird.. just now he i walked in and sat down next to him.. and he told me to leave and "give him space" and he got all mad. It's fucking annoying and idk what to do / if it's normal
