my bf accidentally ordered 4 sushi rolls at this restaurant but i thought he actually meant to order four and when we got them he was like oh i didn’t order four and i was like yeah you did and he FLIPPED out. he called me a stupid bitch and retarded and that he’s so over me because i said that. he’s threatening to break up with me again and i’m crying because like wtf?? that’s such a human mistake to say that i didn’t even know what was going on. he’s mad bc he paid an extra like $12 or something

    He's got anger issues. This sounds very likely to escalate into abuse, hell, this is already verbal abuse. This is so common.

    A narcissistic, manipulative, and abusive person will bend their victim's mind into thinking, "Maybe it's my fault that he acts this way".

    The abuser will dodge responsibility; he's always right, and his "mistakes" are usually someone else's fault. Making even small mistakes will warrant a verbal beating from him.

    Sometimes, when seriously confronted for being mean and controlling, abusers will say they're doing it because they love you. This is where the victim needs to choose to put his/her foot down-

    screw off with the "I love you"- no more accusations or excuses.

    Perhaps you should tell your bf how it makes you feel will he's mean like that, especially over little things. If you can't see him changing after that, I suggest you dump him.

    Otherwise, you'll probably wind up walking on eggshells for an indefinite amount of time.
