Bf might get kicked out of uni bc he omitted on his admission

my bf didn’t knowledge the fact that he used to get bad grades in a previous college before the one he’s at now. they found that out and emailed him saying there’s potential for explusion... my bf has no job, he lives off his parents, and he used to be a heroine addict, not anymore for years but he smokes pot on and off... we’ve been dating a year.. i’m svared something bad is gonna happen... am i wasting my time? i want a future partner who is stable with a job and school... and idk. i love him, but is this a bad sign?
