Bf, judgment, water, couldn't find water, yells

so i offered to buy my bf food and he said to pick up a jug of water and i said okay where. and he GOT SO MAD. he called me a moron and retarded and how i should be ashamed of myself. like i obvi know every store has water but it was at 10 pm a lot of the stores are closed and i wanted to know where he buys his usually cuz i never go out to buy water... is this normal?

So why stay with someone who's gonna treat you like that. He seems to not really have any respect for you. Anger over stupid shit like a jug of water, so what happens if you wreck his car, or fix a dinner he doesn't like? Anger issues rarely fix them self. The longer it goes on the worse it will get, the more he will feel like the dominate jackass.

Hun...if I may be so bold...

I've read several comments that seem to be from you and they all showcase that he's not being very nice. It's almost like you're coming here to us hoping for approval in your decision or for us to make a decision for you...but that's really not how advice works.

If you really want to leave him you don't need approval from anyone but yourself and the same goes if you really want to stay with him...

You make the decision that is right for you and if you don't, then you'll look back on it and question WHY you made a decision instead of living your life knowing that YOU made a decision to better your life.

  i don't want to break up with him... i'm asking for advice to help the relationship. i've never really fought this much in previous relationships.... he's 27 and i'm 18 too... so it's a little harder. i'm more immature than he is. i just don't know if his behavior is justified bc of what i'm doing wrong.. i just don't know
