Bf didn’t tell me he was seeing his friend

so my bf told me he wanted me to go home because he wasn’t feeling good. (he’s been withdrawling from xanax) so i was like okay and left. hours later i wanted to see if he was home so i did a drive by by his house and his car wasn’t there. i went over to his friends house and saw his car and saw the tv on with the NBA finals on.... i sat there and waited until he got in his car. he texted me right when he got home. i asked how his day was and he said “it was ok. my head started hurting really bad again) DIDNT EVEN MENTION SEEING HIS FRIEND. is that bad? should i let it go? i know i shouldn’t of waited for him to leave but i was really mad for some reason. advice?

    You are just dating, not married or engaged. Don't be a control freak. If he would have said "hey gf, I want to go to a friend's house and watch the finals". Would you have got upset or possessive and said "no, I want to spend time with you". He probably knew it would hurt your feelings or you would have made a scene. So in that respect I can understand him. Some people get so butt hurt when person they dating wants to do something with someone else.

    He is doing one (or all of the following)

    Hiding a gay fondness for his friend.

    Actually fucking his friend.

      he ended up telling me the next day. maybe he felt weird bc he told me he was feeling sick and didn’t want it to seem like he was lying

    he probably wanted to see his bud but didnt you to feel hurt by it since he might think youre clingy so he said a lil lie about it to not make you feel unintentionally hurt
