That gum they have is worthless. Try putting your mind on something more positive... Someone once told me if you drink alot of water youll be more addicted to just that and its also great cuz it flushes out your system... Try it it may sound weird it worked for me

I'd go outside running whenever I had withdrawal symptoms. When I really couldn't stand it, I'd sleep it off. The first three days were the hardest, until nicotine gets dismissed from the bloodstream (water and friut juices can make this faster). After that, occupying myself with tasks which needed mental effort worked quite well for me. Do whatever you have to but avoid buying them at all costs! Just remember, your mind will play many tricks in order to get it's nicotine reward like: "I finished my work, I deserve a cigarette now" or "It was a hard day, let's have a cigarette to relax". Don't let it fool you, stay determined to your goal!

Why don't you set fire to the amount of money each pack costs you every time you want one?
It might help you get some perspective as to the amount of money you're squandering.

Believe it or not, if you ever sucked your thumb before, it works totally to eliminate the cravings.

  • i only have one time when i got locked up and it was as hard as hell you can't sleep or nothing with out thinking of smoking.

i had no other choice but to quit with out the use of medication in replace of tobacco so i couldn't even use fake shit for the feeling.

The way I quit was, keeping my pack of cigs but not touching them and keeping them out of sight, so that way you know that you have cigarretes so it comforts you a bit, and then do something to get your mind off of it. It was hard at first, but after a couple weeks, I didnt even care unless I really thought about it. It's a mental thing you have to over come.

I had somked to almost 17 years and I quit cold turkey. It is all about will power. This is the hardest thing I ever had to do, but it is for your helth and those around you. It gets easyer with every passing day. I found out that every nic fit would last about 6 min. So I would keep myself busy doing somthing besides eating. The trick is 1- your are ready to quit, but with that being said. KNowing that you will always have the odd craving for your old habbit. Just like someone who has quit drinking. YOu can never have just one because it will alway bring come back and bit you in the ass. Good luck quiting. YOu can do it! Nothing in life is that easy if you want it bad enough!

I have been a two pack a day smoker since I was 14, now 55. If you are like me, and you enjoy your "COFFIN NAILS", hell why quit, gotta crocked from something.

i replaced smoking with hitting a gym

when you regularly workout then you really feel retarded smoking and letting all that effort go to waste

my mom smoked for over 20 years, and she quit when she read in a dear abby column that some woman quit by taking some loose tobacco and sucking on it to fend off cravings, and she tried it and it worked.
