Best season for a wedding?

Not necessarily based on the weather, more the motif, decor, dress style and so on.

I personally like winter weddings but I hate winter time!

Or do you like heavily themed weddings on or around holidays?

I'm not too keen on international holidays and wedding traditions, so I apologize for my limited list. Feel free to add information regarding your traditions in your country in a comment!

Spring here (UK) because it's not too hot, not too cold and it's long after Christmas and New Years. Spread the celebrations out over the year!

Motifs and decors.. I have no idea. A white wedding in a church is fairly dull to me, but a gothic wedding in a castle with pumpkins on halloween would seem ridiculous too.

    NAKED WEDDING!

If I ever get married, it will definitely be on Halloween! I'll wear a witch's dress, and the guy can be dressed as a vampire.

The reception would be a huge Halloween party, and we could honeymoon in-- you guessed it, Transylvania!

I'm completely serious. Except for maybe the Transylvania part. ☺

    LONG LIVE HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas, so you can open the presents in front of the bride and groom. Wouldnt that be fun? The entire family spending christmas together?

    • Yeah, of all the holidays, Christmas and Thanksgiving make the most sense as you'd likely be with the family anyway...July 4th is more of a drunken day with buddies rather than a wedding day...Going to a wedding can be a real chore, especially depending on how far you're traveling. If it's around X-Mas or T-Giving it's not so bad cuz you're going to see your family anyway (or it's a good excuse to go anyway)...
