I don't really listen to them but I related very strongly to breaking the habit. I had some issues, man. That is all.

    Hybrid; good
    Meteora; good
    Minutes; okay
Suns; depends what mood I am in, but normally not so good.

And I agree with cooldudejw; sometimes getting too into a band that tells you to be miserable can make you miserable. Not commonly, but sometimes.

Yeah same for me but I would put the albums a little higher though...

      Hybrid: Awesome
      Meteora: Awesome
      Minutes: Good
Suns: nah... doesn't fit to LP and not that good -.-

Can't decide between Hybrid Theory and Meteora...

What I hate is that with Suns, they threw a bad light on their old music; they literally made it worse by making it feel fake and immature instead of relatable. But then, the band will make whatever music they want, and that is a good sign at least. It isn't as if Suns was a commercial sell-out just to make some money, it is hardly a commercial record. If it was, THAT would've made me really angry :/

thanks. man i was listnin to them like every day and thought i could relate to the lyrics but all i did was push people away.

not until 2010 i found relaxing nice music and found out that LP were makin me more unhappy than i already was.

        Hiya,

I was exactly the same but worse. I loved all that music. I think there's a reason why entertainment exchange shops all seem to have the same things in; as soon as you get to a certain age you stop relating to them.

I’ve since got back into music I grew up with.
Now they just give me a headache. I do like their instrumental though so I play that but no more.

im a sensible person so i realized they were the main reason why i was misrable. i dont regret ditching them at all. the rapper was pretty good but he dosent rap on the new album anyways.

i got sick of there negitivity and like you said i proberly matured and just grew out of it. anger and bitterness is a horrible thing to have.
you were worse eh. were you listnin to them everyday hangining on there every word thinkin they were right coz i wasted alot of years doing that.

as a matter of irony i listin to AILD now who are alot more aggresive BUT they have meaningful lyrics and i hear there a christian band so thats good i suppose, anyways

          peace.

            Hiya,

Yes. I don't regret it either. I've had a couple of problems with my behaviour anyway due to disability but since I stopped listening they've almost gone. It can't have been Linkin Park's fault – they're just a band after all – but that type of thing isn't good for me to hear.

I made the mistake of putting 'With You' on the other day but I just sat there crying. I passed their album straight on to someone else.

i took them too seriously and it did me alot of harm. i was well moody and paranoid back in 2007. i dont listen to them anymore. and ihave moved on and i am a diffrent person now.

That's big of you to admit that a band could have that sort of an affect on your life. :)

I really like all their songs before minutes to midnight. Reanimation seemed to touch my core with their sounds n stuff. I really liked them man :/ loved them even to get me through alot.

To be honest, I pretty much completely stopped listening after Somewhere I Belong. I don't remember being that keen on Minutes to Midnight the one time I listened to it, but I should probably pick them up again.

I found that, even with having 'emo' lyrics, they put how I felt in words, articulated how I felt in a way I couldn't really explain and made me feel a bit better sometimes.

However, I can't listen to With You as it reminds me too much of my favourite aunt, who died when I was 13. I have no idea why this is, though.

Hybrid theory is the best, then meteora, reanimation, then after getting used to it, minutes to midnight, that's it..........nothing else...no others

I don't recognize any of those album names, but there are a few Linkin Park songs that I like though. Mainly some of the older ones for nostalgic purposes...

linkin park is what lonely virgin suicidal seventh-graders listen to.
face it, it's just one of those bands you listen to when you have a phase during younger years, and then you gradually get over them and never listen to them again.
