I have a class with him and everytime i look the way that he is looking, he smiles and says hi. If he is near me he try's to talk to be but dose get shy. I am straight so i don't have no feelings for him. but i fear that he likes me and i just what to be friends.I love to play around with my friends and have a good time. but i can talk to him but i feel that he is aways looking at me. He always whats me to protect him. he ones try to hug me but since i am not the hugging type i pushed him back and by the way his face was i felt he wasn't happy. I don't know if he likes me or not. so i wanted to ask to see what u guys think. Is this normal behavior?

    I have a male friend who developed strong feelings for me. It was a very difficult situation to manage without losing his friendship. All I can tell you is what I did. Don't offer false hope. Be persistent in maintaining an appropriate level of intimacy (or lack of intimacy). Reinforce often that you are straight. Be sensitive to his feelings and put yourself in his position by imagining that you were crazy about a female friend who will never be attracted to you.

    I think you should be direct and ask him if he has feelings for you.
