Alright, so I'm a female and my best friend is a male. We've known each other for ever, and he is the sweetest thing ever. I have had feelings for him in the past, but never told him incase it ruined our friendship and made things weird.

So recently, I've noticed he likes a girl, which is totally fine. But he chooses her over me for everything. She doesn't like me at all, and never wants him to be with me (as a friend.)

I don't have feelings for him anymore, but I'm really hurt that he doesn't even hang out with me anymore. I think of him as an older brother, and I'm totally fine with him liking another girl. When my boyfriend broke up with me, he sat with me in my room until after midnight until I fell asleep.

A few days ago, I asked him if he wanted to hang out and he never replied to my text. A bunch of our friends organised a get together (My best friend and his crush were invited) and I was never invited.

Is he avoiding me? Is this normal because he likes a girl? I'm so hurt and confused.

    i feel like i could almost relate my best friend is a girl im guy i have had really strong feelings for her for years and like you never told her because i didnt want to spoil our friendship i cant even imagine what your what your going through i would be absolutely destroyed if she just abandoned me like that

    Your friend is being n ass. He thinks just because hes got a hoe now he listens to her just so the bitch will stay with him. Tell him how u feel and that he needs to stop his shit

    Maybe it is time to let him explore on his own. Perhaps years down the road the two of you will renew friendship. But this time without all the hidden/secret crushes which appears, at this time, to be interfering with him having a girlfriend now. I am sure there is more to the story.

    Why would your mutual friends have a party and not invite you too? If they are mutual friends the two of you share, and even if you or friend has a new partner, wouldn't they invite all?

    She's just his friend she should be able to hang out with him, tell him how you feel OP, he has a responsibility to his friend.
