Being yelled at

it's perfectly understandable that you cry when you are yelled at by an adult. it is very frustrating to feel like you are in a position where you can't respond, retaliate, or defend yourself. when you are put in that position you feel angry, hurt, embarrassed, disrespected, and helpless in one sudden surge. tears are a natural response to that.

you have obviously been raised to respect authority. that is refreshing to find in youth these days. but that doesn't mean an adult has the right to violate you or single you out in front of your peers.

you keep being you. when people suppress emotions that's when we end up with crazy people running around taking out their pent up frustrations on society.

if God is for you who cares who's against you. you are special and don't let anyone make you think otherwise.

I used to cry when yelled at by my parents, but never teachers. I don't really think a teacher could yell at you that bad to make you cry. If they did, I'm sure they could get fired for it.
But anyway, the way i got over it was to drown out their voice. Pretend your looking at them and nodding as if you understood everything they said. If your looking at them they might go easier with you because they see that your still respectful and face what you've done but in reality your probably just thinking about porn or how badly you'll treat them when your older and their old and wrinkly!!

I think this is pretty normal. Especially if someone said something personally hurtful. It happens to me everyday.

Being abused (even by yelling) is hurtful, and you're expressing a normal emotion.

You are a sensitive guy. Thats good. What stinks is how many insensitive people there are, including teachers. You may want to look at a bit of self help in how to be assertive. Also why you are getting into trouble - since you should know yourself & that you don't react well to being in hot water?

I hate being yelled at by authority, or even being questioned about something. I would say it is pretty normal to feel stupid but I don't know about crying.

Depends on your age, the older you are, the easier it'll be to handle, don't worry. There's nothin wrong wi crying either, it's just embarassing if you do at the wrong time.
