Being the third wheel

Just had my first experience of being the third wheel. I still had fun but I couldn't help but be annoyed with my two friends being lovey dovey and all touchy. Especially since one of them knows I'm in a long distance relationship.

I voiced out my opinion a few times when it got too much, but there's no stopping couples sometimes. Anyone else hate this kind of thing?

    This is a part of life. Awkward and annoying circumstances. The term '3rd wheel' was made for a reason. Its not a pleasant experience and everyone who is looking or in love hates being in that situation. Sounds very normal.

    So you learned a valuable lesson. Hopefully you are smart enough to not repeat the experience. Next time you'll know that it's much better sitting at home alone, rather than going out with friends who are a loving couple. Poor you. Poor jealous you.

      There are times when a friend wants to hang out without telling you that they've brought someone along.
