Being abandoned by your mother 30 miles away from home. is it normal?

Today I woke up bright and early so I could enroll at my new school on time. We were supposed to leave at 8:30 said my mother, yet she wasn't ready to go until 8:51... so I blamed her for us being late. By the time I get to my old school to get my transcripts, she calls me very vulgar names and questions my worthiness in respect to her raising me. After being chewed out in the school parking lot with the door open for 15 minutes being told why I'm so worthless, I took the keys and went inside to get my transcripts alone. I come back out and sit in the drivers seat, and she tells me I'm going to jail and that I'm not leaving that school. So I respond that we need to get to the other school and enroll me before they run out of time. The entire drive to the new school consisted of a prolonged bitchfest, and 2 miles before our checkpoint she kicked me out of the car in the middle of the road and told me I'm kicked out of the house and that I'll go to jail if I come back.

Is this normal?
