    No idea.

    Luckily I'm ugly AND stupid, so I have the best of both worlds.

        Ugly, stupid friends, doing ugly stupid things.

        It's a sitcom waiting to happen!

        "Making your way in the world today
        Takes everything you've got;
        Being pretty instead of pretty dumb
        Sure would help a lot.

        Wouldn't you like to get away?

        Sometimes you want to go...

        Somewhere nobody hates your face,
        Just cause your features are out of place,
        You want to be where you can see,
        Other people filled with shame;
        Yeah you're ugly and stupid - but we're the saaaame.

        We're the saaaaame."

        *Intro* charli.m and disthing enter bar. They fall over.

    Intelligence can mean many things, such as being book smart, compared to street smart. However, beauty is different, more standard, there are certain qualities that if you possess generally you are attractive, such as being tall and having bright eyes.

    I'd like to believe that I'm rather intelligent, and I have a great personality so I've been told, so I know what the world looks like from that lens. However, beautiful? I can't say I've been called that a lot so I'd go with beauty simply because I am curious to know what the world looks like through that lens. If I were beautiful how nicer would people be to me? How easy would it be for me to get what I want? Would I even need to have a personality? I want to know how would it play out if I were a handsome man in an American society.

      Pretty shitty actually due to people's envy. Also some people automatically think good looking people are stupid. They degrade them. They see attractive people as simply a toy. Intelligence and beauty are like sub and dom. The beauty being the sub. Besides so many assumptions can be made already from someone beautiful. Like wow, he's a doucbebag. Or, wow, he must cheat in relationships.

      I don't know. I just never thought society treats attractive people as many people think they do. Sure you may get a few crushes on you, but that's pretty much all.

        I'm not going to lie, the more I think about the more you're probably right. You're seen more as an object than an actual person, and the ridiculous assumptions must really suck. Thanks for the enlightening comment broseph.

  • Depends. Intelligence makes you able to do stuff for yourself, beauty can make others do things for you.

      Not so. Some of the most productive people out there are total dumbasses, and some of the smartest people I know are useless as hell.

    An intelligent person can appear to be beautiful, but a beautiful person cannot appear to be intelligent.

      The hot belly dancers in my MENSA group would disagree. They have nerdy thick frame glasses to defeat such preconceptions when needed.

    I'd love to be somewhat beautiful, or at least change a few things about me. I'm a blonde in most people's eyes.. I'll never be clever :'(

    The mere possession of knowledge is not enough, it's the ability to use that knowledge that matters.

    Beauty seems to get you further in the modern world. It doesn't seem to matter that you are too stupid to breathe in and out as long as someone else will do it for you.

    Hopefully, they'll keep doing it!

    Intelligence seems alot more important to me. It's better to be intellectuallly sound than dumb yet beautiful. I could be the most beautiful person in the world but without a noticable degree of intellect, it's pointless and more of a curse than a blessing. It's good to be knowledgable about things. And if you're just smart enough, people will look up to you.

    Sadly I don't have mad cash. Meaning, I should be more intelligent. Or more sneaky and fiendish... XD

    I'd think I'd rather be intelligent. I identify more as smart than I do beautiful, and because my values are influenced more by my strengths rather than my weaknesses I think I'd feel more fulfilled being smart.

    It's very difficult to tell. It's not that I don't know what it would feel like to only have one of the two. It's that I don't even know how beautiful or intelligent I am right now, since those things are defined relatively to other people and people tend not to be very good at observing themselves.
