Beating the sh*t out of me

Half an hour ago, I was very frustrated on myself. I hadn't studied for my college at all, and the exams are coming near. So I got so angry that I started beating myself. I couldn't stop, so I ended up spitting blood and have a big pain(it still hurts).
But however, I feel better now. At least the anger is gone.
I haven't done such things before and I'm not asking if it is normal. I just feel strange, and wanted to share it with someone.

    I do this from time to time. It's clearly unhealthy and a terrible way to deal with a negative situation. I'm guessing it's rage turned inward, other people who feel overwhelmed like this may hit another person instead.

    once you get exhausted,so to urself- u sir, have been served right...and from now on,better be disciplined in life and start studying..

    helps me man that stuff helps me
    but i don't run 10 miles,just about 3 exhausht me to near death,and all the anger vanishes like ...wooosh

    when you get angry like that try boxing.. like get a punching bag and just regularly do it. It helps with anger so much. I know a few people who punch a whole in their wall and their hand bleeds but I mean its not really normal to beat yourself up to the point where your spitting blood so try the punching bag thing and see how that works out for you.
