i have had plenty of offers, and guys(i don't even know) telling me im cute and beautiful. Im pretty smart i guess, i have a 3.8 GPA in my second year civil engineering, i think im pretty out going, and i like having fun, but yet i have never goen out with a guy, ever truly kissed a guy or had a boyfriend. Is that wierd. i just think that when its time i will meet the right guy,some people say im being childish cuz i dont go out when guys ask me out what do you think

    I only went on 2 one time dates before age 21, and first kissed a girl in a club and then one more later that year! Your not alone!

    I've got the same problem. It may be the scare of being hurted or fall in love with a player. And my shyness. But I do date ^^

    I'm in the same boat. 18,attractive, and engineering major. Sometimes I hook up with guys to get some experience but have never dated. If I don't feel attracted to a guy right off the bat I wil turn him down too. And because I'm in college, generally I am turning down opportunities to hook up as opposed to dates.

    You can't really get to know a guy if you don't at least go hang out with him. Yes, first impressions go a long way, but they can also be wrong. There's not some magical beam of light that comes down when you meet the "right" guy; sometimes you fall more in love with someone the more you get to know them.

    You turn down offers when guys ask you out? Now this is the interesting bit. It's perfectly acceptable if you turn down blatantly creepy guys, but don't tell me ALL of them are creepy? Statistically, if 10 guys ask you out, at least one of them would be decent enough for you to have a nice conversation over coffee with.

    You need to give these guys a chance, you won't meet the right guy if you keep turning them down. The plus point is you're still very young anyway, plenty of time to rectify this problem. Say yes occasionally and you'll be alright.
