First I heard Westlife, then I found Barry Manilow songs. Yeah, they're on my iPod. I play them and SING them.

I read this post earlier on and then went to the shops, for the entire hour just this part was stuck in my head.....
After I read the haha in the post, I proceeded to re-read it in Micky Mouse's voice. XD
But anyway it's normal to like songs from a certain artist. Are you asking this because the songs are old? Because the age of the song or the artist doesn't matter as long as you like the music.
