Every in a while, I would get a random compliment like you are so beautiful you're very attractive from guys. But I feel like men don't even look my way sometimes and I don't get that much attention from guys on a regular basis. Very rarely will I catch a guy staring (unless men are very discrete when checking out a woman?) Why do most men usually ignore me or not notice me at all? Are people just bull****'ing me with those compliments?

I mean, I am 21 and still never had a boyfriend before. I have only been approached by a older guy once in my life and he just told me I was really beautiful. But I just wonder why I don't receive that much attention from men when people tell me I am pretty.

    To be honest, men are just protecting themselves. Since the feminist movement it's a minefield. If we compliment you we are opening ourselves up to legal repercussions ie, claims of sexism at work. If we sleep with you we're terrified you could go to the police and say we raped you, even if it's a lie it will damage our lives. Feminism has mde us afraid to interact with you because you have so much power to destroy our lives now.

    It really depends on your situation. In order to know, we must know more about what your life is like.

    Are you usually around alot of guys? It sounds like your not, cause if you were around alot of guys then you should be getting guys who want to date you.

    Maybe your beauty also makes guys think they're not good enough to ask you out on a date. Maybe the guys themselves are afraid of rejection?
