Bad luck relationship

Don't know where to start with this story.. Alright so, I've been hanging out/seeing this one guy. We get along pretty well, but it just seems that theres so much bad luck surrounding us and things preventing us from hanging out.

For example: Bad things happen around us, people getting into fights. Cops always around busting people.(I don't live in the ghetto or anything so its weird). Other times when we try to hang out, theres been events preventing us from hanging out. Then recently, our phones delayed each others texts...like 2hr delay and mixed the order of the texts lol (yea we are going to call each other next time instead of text).

There's just a lot of bad things that happened and prevention from simple things. I don't know if this is just a coincidence or we are just bad luck for each other and the people around us? Any one else have a similar situation happen or have happened to them? Is this normal or am I over-reacting?
