Sorry, uncomfortable question alert!
Each time after I masturbate until climax I get very emotional and almost start crying. The act of masturbating doesn't hurt at all but after orgasm I get very extreme emotions, like feeling vulnerable and scared or needing to cuddle really badly. After orgasm it feels like someone is looming over me, ready to snatch me up and punish me for doing it. I imagine monsters coming out from behind the shower curtain and grabbing me and gutting me and eating me alive.
Its really terrifying and frustrating because I cant just enjoy myself without feeling disgusting and like I'm going to become something's food/prey.
Does anyone else experience this or something similar?

    Where you raped? Or some victim of sexual abuse? You need to try to see some therapist about this maybe

      Yeah, I have seen a therapist. I just want to know if there is some other reason this might be happening. I don't have many actual memories of being abused, so I don't know how the freak I'm supposed to work with that. Is there a different reason this might be happening?

    First off you didn't say if you are male or female, which in this case can make a big difference. Women are more emotional during the orgasmic moments and for awhile there after. If you are a guy then I feel bad for you that you think of monsters coming from wherever you said. If you are female, that is something that guys seem to really complain about after sex. They don't want to cuddle and talk with their woman. Most guys anyway, but there are the exceptions tho. Myself as a guy I love having a woman lay her head on my chest and just relax with each other.

        Well common as far as some getting emotional after orgasim. Some women want to just kick the guy out, some may want to stop and talk about their feelings, others want to talk about ways to improve things. I honestly don't recall many females getting emotional after masturbation. I just read also, that you are a survivor of sexual abuse. I am sorry to hear that happened to you. I as a male also was victim of sexual abuse also. It's not fun or easy trying to work past.

    I feel scared when I touch myself and sometimes cry, but I don't imagine monsters or anything.

    It's normal to get emotional i guess.

    Maybe something bad happened to you before.

      Maybe. Ive had a therapist before for adoption related issues and she said there is a high probabibility that I was abused. I came from a bad family so it would make sense. All my memories are very fuzzy though, and most of my early childhood I don't remember at all. So I'm not sure for sure what actually happened, or what I might just be freaking myself out with instead.

    I am a male and for years after I would masterbate, I'd feel guilty,or ashamed. But then after a while passed,I realized that if masterbating was wrong then how come nobody has to be taught how to do it. Now when I masterbate I don't feel anything but relief
