I prefer driving a vehicle with a manual or standard transmission. It is easier for me to accelerate and decelerate easier and can bump start if I need to.
I know this may seem out of the ordinary but does anyone else think this is a normal thought?

Completely normal. I agree with you 100%. I have driven vehicles with manual transmissions since I got my license 12 years ago. I find I have more control of the vehicle, and it makes me feel more powerful.
Completely normal. My first car was auto and I couldnt stand it. After that I had nothing but manual trans cars except 1 and I sold it as soon as I could. But I also drive a highly modified car.
It's totally normal. I'm the same. Yes you definitely have more control over the vehicle and you can easily decelerate by downshifting instead of wearing down your brake pads as much. On the other hand though, if you do a lot of in town traffic driving than auto could be easier. I think people are more aware of their vehicle/surroundings when they drive a manual.
Ya, manual all the way!!! Everyone should know how to drive a stick. You don't have to worry so much about overheating and the transmission is so much easier to fix
Manual gives you control over the car so it's lots of action but the engine has to be at least 3000cc.
