Attracted to women with european, russian or scandinavian accents

For some reason I am really attracted to women with accents.

They could be really average looking and I would never give them a second look – that is until they open their mouth and start speaking with an accent (esp. European, Eastern European, Russian or Scandinavian).

Suddenly I'm interested.

Is it normal?

    Mind you, it would stop being normal if you got to the point where you WOULDN'T be interested in someone only because she doesn't have that accent, or if you would automatically like the girl only because she has the accent regardless of the way she is.
    I have a friend who has an obsession with Asian girls an has got really ridiculous and sad.

    There are some accents that I think are more appealing than others and the ones you listed are not the same as the ones I like. Accents make them seem more exotic, for a time.

    I find most accents are only really noticeable for the first day or so of being around someone who has one. After that it blends in with the sound of their voice and I don't even notice it any more, unless they use an unfamiliar word in regular conversation.
