"There are two places only where socialism will work. In heaven where they don't need it, and in hell where they already have it."
-- Winston Churchill.
Not really. Socialism severely limits your choices in life. In return for services from the state, you must serve the state in the capacity they choose.
Information is severely limited in a socialist society because information is power and the state doesn't want the people to have any power.
There's plenty more, but just those few things would dissuade most of us from 'free' societies from desiring to live in a true socialistic society, I think.
You sail the world from your basement with a blow up doll 42 years younger than you
Communism and Socialism the same difference between a Democrat and Republican: Not much.
Adolf Hitler, National Socialism was good but the "ism" part, anything "ism" is bullshit in itself.
National Socialist.
You're correct. Socialism is an economic alternative to capitalism and private property. It has nothing to do with oppression and political control. Sweden is a socialist country and the people enjoy a peaceful democratic lifestyle.
Scandinavian countries—specifically, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland—are perceived as socialist because their citizens pay very high income taxes. However, these countries still suffer from many of the social and economic ills that socialism is supposed to prevent.
You want to cut off your leg because you believe in your mind you are an amputee.
As someone who doesn't have to support royalty, I must say the English Royals have entertained and enlivened my life numerous times, around the world.
The Queen herself is responsible for my holding a British Commonwealth Mate's Certificate of Competency. Thank you, Lizzy.

Absolute truth.
And no it doesn't mean I've met her or any of them. A situation occurred where I was hired to drive a boat that she was to be on, so I was required to be licensed by the Commonwealth.
and they dont seem too happy bout havin to pay the way for a buncha ingrates what wants to turn the place into swedastan
but who gives a fuck what the lil peoples think
their leaders know whats best for em
Fascism would be fine, so would communism. Unfortunately, people are too selfish, stupid and lazy to do anything that involves bettering themselves or working for something, so we are stuck with foolish democracy.
Giving people freedom only leads to violence. Humans are not meant to be free, we are meant to work as a machine, continuously expanding our influence on this planet and beyond, and destroying any hint of opposition to our progress.
Since its unfair and does not divide rights equally. For example lets say there is a poor family, a middle class family, and a rich family. A Rich family child can go to college if they pay for them(if they disown that the kid is homeless), if the middle class struggles and gets grants and mommy and daddy help out they go to college(If not they become homeless), if the poor family has a kid that kid goes to college no matter what. How is that right? Now if Either the rich kid, middle class kid get a job it is most likely low wage in which case they will be poor. However they have 0 rights of an actual poor person since they do not have kids, and so the state still considers them offspring of middle class and rich parents. So they are doomed to poverty while the poverty born child can better their life. Fun isnt it? What a FUCKED UP SYSTEM!
So the system works on the now or later. Either you are born with some money as a kid and not eating out the dumpster and have no future, or you have a crap childhood and have a future. You cant have both.
I don't support either capitalism or socialism exclusively, (I prefer capitalism though) but I support opportunity and virtue (for example free education, few corporate restrictions etc.) .
I mean, you cant really advocate for capitalism because not everybody is born with the same privileges and opportunity.
Then you cant really advocate socialism either because people just suck off the inflated social security and leave the aspiring, creative and intelligent to be crushed by their own dreams.
Besides, would we need socialism if we were all good, better yet, would it exist?
democratic socialism is ideal for a country. if you are against that you are brainwashed! unregulated capitalism is an idea where if it sells, it stays. and that is a toxic platform. regulated capitalism just ensures capitalism is used fairly and for good. business will never be moral if an immoral competitor is making more money.
"Not that I condone facism; or any ism for that matter. Isms, in my opinion, are not good. A person should not believe in an ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, “I don’t believe in ‘Beatles’, I just believe in me.” Good point there. After all, he was the Walrus. I could be the Walrus, I’d still have to bum rides off of people"
