Attention problem.

if you look for your clothes to make you feel better, they will only give you a brief feeling which doesn't last. Its like girls who reapply make up all the time. They want to feel pretty, but things don't really work do they :), so they do it again and again in the same night, and feel ugly all the time. Let go of the feeling that you need to look good and then you won't be bothered, which is confidence.

Like most teenagers, you're messed up. Eventually you'll grow up, and become even more messed up, but no one will notice because everyone is messed up. Eventually you'll be part of this fantasy called "the Real World" and any semblance of a soul will be lost. Perfectly normal.

maybe you just do come off as a little weird to them
there's this kid, matt in my grade, who acts like a total freak. and the thing is he doesnt even realize it.
he still walks around in his leather jacket in the middle of hot may, while we are all wearing short shorts, and t shirts.
he still manages to make odd noises with his mouth at lunch
he still manages to walk down the hallway like a man on a mission
he's odd
maybe you are too. and your not realizing it
or maybe they think your gay because you get to dressed up
weather they think of you like i think of matt?
or they think of you as gay?
take a good look at yourself, and ask... do i act like others?

yea i think this is normal. You have confidence problems so you try to get all "dolled up" (i know your a guy, but just go with it)so people will look at you and think your are cool, hott, ect... but you dont think you are those things so when people look at you, you dont feel what your trying to feel. I have this problem from time to time too.... you just have to start believing what you want other people to think about you.
