    I say Jesus Christ all the time and I'm an atheist, oh my god occasionally too, a lot of religious words are so ingrained into the consciousness of society that they aren't used in a religious context by thousands of people

    God that's strange, I would have said jesus fcking christ.
    I agree I have never screamed out allah or Zeus :D

    Culture allows for originally religious terms to be said like 'bless you' when someone sneezes. It now has nothing to do with religion or mythical beliefs, its like saying fcking hell.
