At what temperature do you set the thermostat?

Its getting cold here but I still don't have the heat on, I usually keep it at 65 degrees in the winter. Its cold but I cant afford to turn it up. How about you guys? btw if you cant "set" a temperature what temperature would you like?
Can you afford to keep it comfortable or are you wearing coats and gloves inside?

I live in LA so I have absolutely no idea what you mean by "getting cold." Also, what is "winter?" I thought Game of Thrones invented that as some lame plot device.

We stopped psychically messing with the thermostat. The last time we did that, it broke and it was during the winter. I was so cold that my feet were going numb. I thought that I was either going to freeze to death or get frost bitten and have to have my body parts amputated. Very unpleasant. The guy that fixed it said that moving it around can mess up the system. The heat is supposed to automatically come on when it is cold enough.

At home I set it to 63 ish. Sometimes a little higher when it starts to feel damp. Can't let it get too cold with a baby in the house. So we suck it up and pay for heat. It's an old house. At work it is set to 70 which keeps the front office at 60 and the back office at 80 year round. Crazy old building.

In the summer the thermostat is at 70° 72° when it's sleepy time and 75° to 78° when I'm awake.

In the winter it's set around 65° most of the time.

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Due to money issues, it's auto set to 65. I still feel cold so I wear a sweater indoors. Strange thing is I never had this problem with feeling cold last year or some of the years before that.

I feel you. I don't have a thermostat, I set a temperature on a boiler to the minimum, just so it heats the radiators at all. It gives about the same temperature as you set your thermostat to, at least in the rest of rooms in my house, since my room is always the warmest. There are two people including me who spend majority of time in it, two computers heating the room, it's in the middle of the house and it's the smallest. It's currently 24 celsius here and I wear a tshirt while in the rest of the house I need 2 layers of sweatshirts.
