14. I worked as a brick layer for a brickie who was an alcoholic. He'd drink two six packs of beer (full strength) before we'd start work at 6am
My parents ran a dairy farm, so basically as soon as I could walk and understand basic instructions, that's when it all started. Didn't end til I moved out. Slave labor!! My dad was a drunk who didn't do shit, he left it all to my mom, me and my brother.
Think I was 16. I helped my dad at the office and the first real job I got was at a carwash. Still remember the day when I had to drive out a guy's M5. My first contact with a sports car XD
Now I am 21 and work in a company. International spedition and transport stuff. Started that when I was 19.
14, child care centre owned by my friend's mother. Childcare is all I have ever done...so going from that, I've been working in childcare for...fuck...14 years :-S Though I don't say that on my CV, I only count the first job I got after turning 18.
about 11. I used walk around mowing lawns with a push lawnmower around my neighborhood. I did that until I was 15 or 16 charging anywhere from $15-$40 depending on the size of the lawns and if I hadn't spent all that money at all I would've had easily $1,500-$2,000. No joke I would sometimes make up to 80 bucks a day. I was smart.
14, Grocery store bag boy. I was the fast bagger this side of The Mississippi.
16, we were hanging at this bar.. well, it was a small, empty place in a small empty town. so they never asked to see any id as long as you kept buying booze and kept it quiet. One night I got really drunk and asked if they need any help at the kitchen.
At least I was the only guy with my own car at the highschool ;)
Do regular paid babysitting jobs count? That would be 12.
If not, i basically worked as paper-girl when i was 14 in our neighbourhood. It wasn't official, but the regular delivery guy was getting old and more than willing to share a bit of his income for having less work to do :)
That was daily, before school, and more than an hour of work, so it has to count :P
15. I was a cashier at a supermarket (grocery store). I worked there until I was 18 years old.
