I was being nostalgic and reminiscing about my childhood when the thought occurred, of how angry I was that Nintendo wrote off Misty.
So just curious what are the thoughts of others who grew up with the original show.

    I was in love with misty when I was about 6 I was raging that she wasn't real

    I haven't watched the show for probably more than a decade. Did she die or something?

      No, they had her take over the gym, and replaced her with a new girl, named May. Since they replaced her I don't think Misty has made even 10 appearances.

    Yeah... I remember that. I didn't see the actual episode when she disappeared, but I saw the one where they introduced may and max. I was just like wtf?
